Not long ago I found the interest in perfumes. So I studied notes, reviews at fragrantica.com and just yesterday ordered GUERLAIN Petite Robe Noire EDT.
I found out today that smell type (powdery, balsamic, smoky...) depends on ingredients.
Today at store I tested Lanvin Jeanne Couture, and it was not perfume, it was talc, powder in the air, suffocating... Similar to Kenzo Flower Tag EDP which I'll try to sell to someone.
First ingredients of Lanvin was:
1. Alcohol
2. Parfum
3. Aqua
4. Limonene
5. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane
6. Ethylhexylcinnamate
7. Ethylhexyl salicylate
8. Citronellol
9. Geraniol
5 notes of these was also in Guerlain, so I'm afraid of powderness, my perfume did't arrive yet.
So if you avoid powdery perfumes, I will list upper whic mainly need to avoid. It was not so easy to find ingredients, but I did it finally. For that little job needs a lot of patient, so :
1.Limonene
2.Geraniol
3.Linalool
4.(Hydroxy)citronellal
5.Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane
6.Ethylhexyl salicylate.
So, I got my bottle from escentual, but smell was cheap, almost only alcohol all the time, . Wrapping was not tight at all. Bottle didn't matched with original. On the box was written arabic, that's mean that they are not original. It's a myth that arabic writing is for arabic market. It's a rumour, all the boxes, writings are the same, it's the other thing talking about fakes. From now I just buy perfumes from department stores, macy's, debenhams, neiman marcus and similar stores. Do the same thing, don't waste your money and nerve.
Good day to everyone!
